Honestly, this round I am disappointed. I paid premium and based on the picture of what I ordered there were lilies blue irises and white roses. All premium high-end flowers. To get what look like daisies and hydrangeas instead and without the beautiful blue vase just doesn't feel at all on par with the photo. The arrangement also doesn't feel like the same caliber of the last flowers that you custom did for me. I do understand that when we order online that we can't get exactly the same thing, but for the money I spent this just doesn't meet what I expected.

Hi Shannon, I called you as soon as the review came thru, but was only able to leave a message. Perhaps the photograph doesn't show the exact detail. As I explained on the message, it was indeed a nice very blue vase and because the hospital doesn't allow lilies, we substituted hydrangeas (a higher value flower btw) and added several more stems of spray roses. We also added 3 stems of spray chrysanthemums and statice to add extra fullness to your bouquet. Oh, and we did not have any blue iris in stock, so we did need to use something else (as stated clearly on our website that we may have to do). I'm sorry that you were disappointed, but I assure you that the full value was there and you can see by the small business card in the photo, how large the bouquet actually was. Several people actually commented on how lovely the bouquet was as it was carried into the hospital--so it did make a nice statement.

Aura, I explained to you many times on the telephone as I took your last minute order, I explained in depth about flowers we can and cannot get as a result of Covid. I could not have been more clear. I also explained it to my designer, who I called into the room while we were speaking to tell us exactly what we could do, and she pulled it off beautifully. It looks very much like the picture, pink and white flowers, full and packed nicely with flowers, pink bow, same vase.
I'm sorry you are unhappy with it, but it was a very pretty bouquet I was proud to deliver, made very closely to the picture.

I've extremely rarely told a customer this, but since you are not understanding of *some* substitutions, and the in depth explanation I gave you on the phone, and unhappy with the beautiful bouquet we made for you, AND, you said you wouldn't use us again - I wish you luck with the other florists in town.
We're quite proud of our work. And this was no exception.

I would have appreciated knowing the change regarding the substitution I requested. The arrangement did not look like I expected. Colors were not as advertised. Some flowers were also shortlived. Your service was polite and timely though.

That's the beauty of this program...you get to see what was sent...it seems that the flowers were on the porch a while, because of our "no touch deliveries". We have a new bouquet going out right now! I'm sure that you will like it much better!

Alanna, thanks for your comments. Sometimes the photos don't show exactly what the flowers look like. I would like to assure you that there were no pink flowers and that the ribbon was a pale lavender. The roses are a personal favorite of mine called "Dark Purple". Since you had upgraded the bouquet from the website, our designer needed to use a larger vase to accommodate more flowers. She chose a darker purple that seemed to match the flowers selected. Hopefully this makes you feel a bit better about your gift. Thanks again!

This is my first time ordering from Expressions In Bloom and I am disappointed in the flowers used in this arrangement. It is not as nice as the $14.99 bouquet you get at Costco. I was expecting more for the price I paid.

We're sorry you were unhappy - I took your order on the phone and as I told you, we waited for the freshest flowers to come in. which means the Alstromeria in particular is still in bud form, and will open in a day or two - which will fill in the bouquet nicely. Tho I purposely waited over an hour before I delivered it so you could see the picture, and had you just called us - we could have easily changed it before delivery. But if you wish us to pick it up - we can do so, but need your specific instructions to do so. Again, so sorry you were displeased, and if you wish to call us at 800-405-5666 we'll do whatever you wish!

Oh my goodness. I am so sorry that you were disappointed. Honestly, the pictures are good, but don't fully show the details of a bouquet. I assure you that there were no holes in the bouquet. You had asked for something bright,cheery and long lasting--not "a color scheme with the bright pink/light pink/purple". We would have been happy to accommodate that request for you. You told Emily (who spoke with you) to use our best judgement in filling this. Also, one nice thing about sending a picture, is that you can let us know ASAP, before it goes out for delivery, and we can change it for you. As you can see from the business card included in the picture, it was a very nice size bouquet as well.
Again, I am sorry that you were disappointed. Please know that in person, it was very beautiful.

She took the photo before it was wrapped in cellophane, with intent to show the ingredients. Then it was shrink wrapped in cellophane which gives a more finished product.

I'm a little surprised that this is not a fuller bouquet for the price. You had a beautiful Green and White bouquet in the cooler when I was in the store. I wish I had opted for it. Still, the flowers are pretty just not what I expected.

Lynn, thank you for your critique and your kind understanding email after we contacted you. We learned 2 things from this particular order...We usually put a business card in the picture for reference of size - the bouquet was actually 22" tall, but that doesn't translate size without reference to something, and the business card was left out in this picture. Glenda actually used the bouquet you liked in the cooler, changed it to a larger vase and added the roses, hydrangea, more carnations and more mums, more flowers, to bring it up to the value.
And #2, we love our lime green background - but never again with green flowers! They become almost invisible against that backdrop. (you have to look very closely to see they are there!)..

So in future when we have green flowers like that, we will remove the backdrop and shoot the picture against the black that is behind our backdrop.
We would have gladly ran her out another bouquet but couldn't speak to you because we were told you were driving, and wouldn't do that without clearing it with you.
Again, thanks for your critique, with every small correction we grow and get better, and there's always something new to learn!

Sorry you didn't like it - we do stock about 10 times the varieties and colors of anyone else in the area, but it's impossible to have every color of every variety in stock at all times. So we followed the color scheme of the description that said "breezy shades of pink, white, lavender". Also this is why we have on our order form the agreement to substitutions, which everyone sees on checkout.
