I always order from you guys and the last two times I haven't been very pleased but didn't say anything. Well I just had to say something this time because I pay for the whole family and this gets expensive for an ugly product. Some of the flowers look half dead. I was not pleased with this one at all. You guys usually do better than anyone. Shame on you.

Melissa, I have called you leaving a voicemail message to call me directly. In looking at the picture of what was delivered to church I need some clarification as to what was bad. Spray was delivered at 10:08 am for at 12PM visitation. Nothing should have happened to the flowers in this short time. The image emailed is the actual spray we delivered. George

The hydrangea look like that due to their freshness. They just arrived from the farm and look a little compressed at first. Throughout the day they will fill in and last even longer than usual. Hope this helps!

The peace lilly sent to the funeral home was a disgrace! It was supposed to be in a basket but instead it was in a plain pot. No ribbon and no basket. An embarrassment to me and my husband.

This is the 49th year Ive purchased a dozen roses for Kay on 8/2. I don't recall how many of those years were from George's, but as far back as I can remember. This years arrangement, in my opinion, was the worst quality I've seen. There was/is a brownish tint to the arrangement, from the babies breath as best I could tell. Kay accepted them for what they were. I don't mind paying a bit of a premium for quality, but this is unacceptable compared to decades of purchases there. JH

The roses that we sent for Kay were a special upgrade that we wanted to send for y'all since you're such good customers. There is upgraded greenery and accent that is tinted slightly with an earthy brown color, so I could see how it may appear that they are older. However, I want to assure you that is not the case! As a repeat customer, please always call us when you have any concern. We would much rather speak to you on the phone and fix any problems the same day rather than find out days later that you were unhappy.

The flowers looked gorgeous at first, we kept them in the fridge after pickup (friday evening) until about 30 minutes before our pictures (saturday evening), but after only about an hour three of the five roses on my corsage started wilting and turning brown. After having paid so much I expected a little more longevity from them, by the time we got to the dance they looked even worse, it seemed to just be that those three were old as the other roses looked fine, still extremely disappointing.

Hi Liz, it is unfortunate that David didn't relay that we do NOT recommend placing the flowers in the fridge. A standard fridge is too cold and will kill the flowers quickly. Those 3 flowers were likely the furthest back, which is likely why they didn't last. We do have specific instructions on how to handle the corsage and boutonniere, which were taped around the store, and stapled to the bag.

Delivered on wrong date. I believe I asked for the flowers to be delivered 5/11 the day before Mother's Day. They were delivered today a week early. I ordered on line but did not get a confirmation email regarding the order so had no way to check on the accuracy of your electronic order. This may have been my error but without a confirmation of the order in advance we have no way to be sure it wasn't a glitch in your system

Very disappointing. No card was on our $200 flower arrangement, I confirmed on the order confirmation that I did include a card. I was the first person in the sanctuary on the day of the funeral and the other arrangements had cards just not mine. I called George's and was told there is nothing they will do about it. Myself and my family have spent hundreds of dollars on flowers from George's just in the last two months. Will not be ordering again!

Following up on our conversation we just had on the phone, the family did receive the card on the arrangement. We always follow up when any customer is dissatisfied. Especially with your mother wanting a credit on her account for this issue, we wanted to investigate further. We do not take photos of the cards on the arrangements, for privacy reasons, as they often contain individual addresses. It is unfortunate that this would be a reason you would no longer want high quality florals designed by some of the best designers in Roanoke.

The bloom was brown dead sitting around the casket .I was embarrassed upset didn't know what to tell the family .Should be sent another plant The young lady I talked with said "said sorry about that " it got missed ,said it should not have happened to tell the family to cut the top bloom off !??? How do you calm someone who is grieving to apologize to how the plant looked .Yours was only Peace Lilly that didn't have the pretty white bloom .I'v been a customer for years .Need a credit for a do over the next time I call ,if I order again ! 😒

It is as simple as cutting the bloom though, more will grow in soon. I see in the photo there is a bud just about to open, so there is already a new bloom on the way. If you truly want a replacement just call us back.

This doesn't look like the picture on your website. This has a ton of carnations (I never would have chosen this arrangement). I don't see hydrangea (maybe it's just bud form?) or as much of the greenery as your website pic shows. Kind of bummed, if I'm being honest.

The arrangement pictured here is the exact recipe of the one pictured online, with the same amount of carnations and hydrangea, etc. The green hydrangea is more closed in your photo as it is fresher, but I assure you it is all the same flowers.

I would have much preferred red roses for a Christmas arrangement. I had a conversation with the person I spoke with about wanting red flowers. I didn't even specify roses and she told me that for my price I could expect a few roses. I also did not like the "twigs" sticking out of the arrangement. It doesn't meet the standards that I always associated with George's. I am disappointed. I have always like all the arrangements I have ever gotten there. I can't imagine one of your regular designer arranged this.

Our delivery manager delivered this personally to the church. We have a key to the church and left it in the front foyer for the church staff to place in the sanctuary. It is likely a family member took the plant or it was misplaced by staff. Either way, we did complete this delivery.

Sorry but this was my first time for ordering flowers from your florist and I was very disappointed. I asked for the ribbon around the vase to be pink and purple I only got purple, I asked for the roses to be pink and purple and I got many other colors with just one or maybe two purple ones and other colors some with pink and there were other colors within it. The flowers did not look fresh. I was SO DISSAPOINTED.

Look fine. I texted a request that you sub red flowers of any kind in cat arrangement, but you apparently didn't see the text. I didn't see online where I could make that request.
