I am a little disappointed in this arrangement; it was described to me as having a lot more flowers, so many that you could not see the vase? I am disappointed that other flowers were not added to make fuller and that I was not given the option to do so

I went ahead and listened to the recording of your call with Linda. Linda did accurately describe the product, saying "... you can't see the container [the paperwhites] are in because they are placed down in a beautiful, tall pedestal glass vase... then everything is covered in green moss."
I think the issue here is miscommunication. Yes, the actual pot (container) for the plants is concealed, but this was misunderstood somewhere along the line. Nowhere in the call did Linda describe the product as you did.
With flowering plants like paperwhites, we rarely add cut flowers; that is more common for dishgardens and other green plants.
You called at 8:36am for a same day delivery for a 10am visitation. You were told that we could not make something up new for you as there wasn’t time. Your tribute was delivered an astonishing 49 minutes from the second you called. All we could offer were plants or a ready made floral arrangement in the cooler – at that time, we had two small, colorful mixed vased arrangements, which we felt were not appropriate for a sympathy piece.

We paid almost $250 for this it only had 9 white roses. They said we would get apicture b4 it was delivered I received the photo 2 days after the funeral. We were VERY unhappy with this arrangement!!!

I'm sorry you were disappointed with the standing heart we created for your loved one's funeral. I know that you customized the design by changing colors, and were given the dimensions of the finished product. the cost breakdown is:
$50.00 for the bare heart form and stand, $40.00 labor, $10.00 for the printed banner, $25.00 for greenery, $9.95 delivery and $11.66 sales tax, leaving $85.00 for carnations and roses.
When filling orders the designer adds up each item as they go to reach the purchase price.
I'm not sure why you received the emailed photo late, as that system is automated and send the photos the day of delivery. Did we have the correct email address?

I ordered the same arrangement I had sent several weeks ago, for the same party. It included at least nine roses. This arrangement, identified as the same item, at the same price, appears to be Baby's Breath with three roses. NOT what I had expected!

I was surprised and disappointed with my order. When I ordered my flowers I selected to pay a local delivery charge of $9.95. George's Flowers did not honor the local delivery charge, they charged me $19.95 for the local delivery.

Bobby, as we discussed yesterday when you placed your order the delivery charge to the VA Medical Center is higher than the average "local" delivery charge. This is due to the fact that a delivery to the VA can take an hour for one delivery because the guards are unable to help us (or any florist) maneuver to the correct building to try to find the recipient. Mr. Beyer, we're glad that you liked the flowers and there were a few issues with your order. When I spoke with you on Friday, not once did I imply that you were lying about your order. 1. When you placed your online order, you entered two (2) separate delivery dates. Our system is not set up to handle different delivery dates with only one (1) delivery fee. Our system selected the delivery date from the second order that you placed on the same internet ticket. 2. When your wife called on Friday morning (one of our busiest days of the year) to change the delivery date to Monday. There was not enough time to put a note on your floral gifts in the delivery area about your wife's request for a different day. 3. Our driver seeing the original delivery date and delivering to that area, put your floral gifts on the truck. 4. Your floral gifts were delivered on Friday, but as soon as the issue was brought to my attention, I issued a pick up ticket for the flowers. The flowers were picked up on Friday. Your wife received freshly made arrangements today.

We do our best to insure that the correct image is emailed but on rare occasion the incorrect file is attached. I realize that of all the times for this to happen - it was a very bad time for you to experience an incorrect image file. Again I'm very sorry for the problem. All employees who work with our imaging system have been schooled on double checking each file before sending.

Even though your tribute had already been delivered, there was enough time to pick it up, add a few accent items (i.e. butterflies), retake the picture and redeliver prior to the family getting to the funeral home. Tonja, I am sorry you were not happy. Since this was a pickup you could have expressed your unhappiness with our sales associate and declined the order. We do not stick anyone with any amounts they do not want to spend.
